Obsidian was born from a very specific idea: to create a bike where every part belongs to the same concept, with no compromises and no unnecessary elements.

The carbon frame, the swingarm, the suspension linkages, the chainguard, the handlebar and the saddle have been designed and hand-crafted by EIROS. Components developed specifically for Obsidian, striving for the balance between lightness, stiffness, strength and precision.

The structure is completed with titanium hardware and axles, chosen for their exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, cutting mass wherever every gram counts without compromising the reliability of the whole.

Oversized bearings provide greater structural stability at critical points, helping to minimize flex and play for a more direct, precise response.

But the real difference lies in how all these parts work together.

In Obsidian, every decision shapes the next. The geometry, the carbon structure, the suspension system, the pivot points and every component developed by EIROS have been conceived as parts of a single machine.

Nothing is there by chance. Nothing has been designed in isolation.

A max-power mid-drive motor, designed to give riders instinctive, fully effective control on any terrain.

The M40's advanced control unit and high-resolution speed and torque sensors deliver instant power the moment you start pedaling. In practice, the M40 responds smoothly even to sudden changes in cadence.

Dynamic control logic adjusts power in real time, so the M40 anticipates and executes the rider's intentions without delay. Its sensor detects speed variations in under 3 cm, working together with the cadence and torque sensors to deliver an almost instant response to every pedal stroke.
